Despite being the third highest producer of fruits and vegetables in the nation, Arizona battles with a startling rate of food insecurity. A disheartening 1 in 9 Arizonans, including 1 in 6 children, grapple with inconsistent or inadequate access to food. That's nearly 800,000 people with hunger knocking on their door.

But September brings a beacon of hope. We're uniting to amplify the voice against hunger. Friday, September 15 is Hunger Action Day, and we're calling on you to stand with us. Wear orange, share your photos, and tag @azfoodbanks to be part of the movement. Whether it's donating, volunteering, or sharing stories with the hashtag #HungerActionMonth, every action contributes to the fight against hunger.
