Churchwide encourages pastors and deacons new to the roster of the ELCA to participate in additional education opportunities after their ordination through their first 3 years of ministry called First Call Theological Education. Our next chance to gather will be in November and I am lining up high quality material for us to review to delve deeper into the art of preaching. Our concentrated 8 hours together (via Zoom) we will consider why we preach, what preach and how we preach.
