I have been on the Board of Directors of the Stewardship of Life Institute (SOLI) since 2018. SOLI is a national organization that started at Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary in 1994 (for the full history of SOLI visit stewardshipoflige.org) for the purpose of advocating for stewardship education in ELCA theological seminaries. Today SOLI also gives grants to ELCA synods and affiliated organizations to teach stewardship. The Grand Canyon Synod was a recipient of a SOLI grant in 2020 to provide Generosity Project Labs throughout the synod.
