Step Up as a District Coordinator for Lutheran Day at the Legislature
The Arizona Legislature convenes again in February, and Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona (LAMA) is calling for leaders like you to step up as district coordinators for Lutheran Day at the Legislature on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Wesley Bolin Plaza in Phoenix.
District coordinators play a vital role in making our advocacy efforts a success. Your responsibilities will include:
Securing appointments with your three district representatives and reminding them 2-3 days before the event.
Connecting with participants from your district to organize efforts before and during the event.
Updating LAMA on your progress and participating in brief training opportunities.
Coordinating your district group on the event day and leading legislative appointments, including delivering leave-behind packets to representatives.
This is an exciting way to deepen your involvement, connect with other advocates, and live out your Lutheran values by advocating for justice, compassion, and care for our communities.
Whether you’ve attended Lutheran Day at the Legislature before or are new to advocacy, becoming a district coordinator is an empowering experience. With support from LAMA, you’ll help bring Lutheran voices to the heart of Arizona’s policymaking.
