This August, Spirit of Grace, Surprise, AZ gathered for a study on Swimming with Jonah, developed and presented by Cyndy Warnier, Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center. Each day approximately 65 members and friends enjoyed a coffee and craft hour followed by a presentation by community service organizations with a close with prayers and hymn sing. 

Word is spreading and we had a visitor from American Lutheran Church in Sun City and a call from Gloria de Cristo in Yuma requesting information on our program. Our thanks to out to the volunteers who assisted with bringing baked goods and fresh fruit, preparation of coffee, our crafters for sharing and demonstration of theme related craft projects. A special thank you to Cyndy Warnier and the Spirit in the Desert for the development of our program and the printing of materials.
