Rediscover the Heart of Advent with Faith+Lead's 4-Day Mindful Challenge

As Thanksgiving week unfolds and the holiday season begins, many of us feel the pull of busyness—planning gatherings, hosting loved ones, and navigating the season’s emotions. In the middle of it all, Advent invites us to pause, breathe deeply, and center ourselves in God’s presence.

This year, we invite you to step into the sacred rhythm of Advent through the 4-Day Mindful Advent Challenge, starting Monday, December 2nd. Over four days, you’ll receive a daily email with an inspiring video devotional featuring the contemplative art of Pastor and Artist Steve Thomason. Each devotional includes:

  • A meditative video: Watch as Advent-themed artwork unfolds, offering moments of peace and reflection.

  • A thoughtful prayer: Deepen your connection with God through intentional prayer.

  • A simple daily practice: Engage with the Advent themes of hope, peace, joy, and love in community with others.

Advent is a season of waiting—filled with expectation and renewal as we prepare for Emmanuel, God with us. Through this challenge, you’ll find space to reflect, draw near to God, and carry the peace of Christ into your daily life and celebrations.

Join believers across our synod and beyond in this journey toward a meaningful and restful Advent. Participation is completely free, and you can sign up in minutes.
