New Spirit Lutheran Church in Tucson is seeking a musician with a strong singing voice, an engaging personality, experience working with a band, and familiarity with Christian contemporary music for a part-time position as Worship Leader.

The Worship Leader will have responsibility for selecting, rehearsing, and leading music for the Sunday worship service each week, along with occasional additional services (for example, during Holy Week and at Christmas).

Music will include both congregational singing and incidental music. Musical style will be predominantly contemporary (e.g., Tomlin, Hillsong). The worship leader may lead with guitar or from keyboard.

The Worship Leader will work closely with the pastors and with volunteer musicians. It is anticipated that this salaried position will require between eight and twelve hours per week.

Salary is $225-275 per week (negotiable depending on experience).
