Join the Movement: ELCA’s 2025 National Day of Racial Healing Event

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 9am-1pm MST, 8am-noon PST, for a transformative online event observing the 2025 National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH). This free event, presented by the ELCA in partnership with Augsburg Fortress Publishers, will include worship, workshops, music, and guided reflection, centering the voices and wisdom of ELCA leaders of color.

Following Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the NDORH is a nationwide initiative by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to foster racial healing and promote justice. This year, the ELCA joins this important movement to raise awareness of the ongoing need for racial healing and inspire collective action to create a more just and equitable world.

Why Attend?

  • Engage in worship and guided reflections that challenge and inspire.

  • Participate in workshops led by ELCA leaders of color, offering practical tools for change.

  • Join a broader community committed to racial healing and reconciliation.

This event is open to all ELCA members, congregations, colleges, universities, seminaries, and partner organizations. Ecumenical and interfaith partners are also warmly invited to participate.
