Join Bishop Eaton for a Powerful Conversation on God’s Love Made Real

God’s Love Made Real: A Conversation with Bishop Eaton

On Tuesday, September 10, at 12pm MST/PDT, 1pm MDT, members of the Sierra Pacific, Southwest California, Pacifica, Grand Canyon, and Rocky Mountain synods will have a unique opportunity to join the Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton, Presiding Bishop of the ELCA, for a regional conversation on “God’s Love Made Real.”

Participants are encouraged, but not required, to register in advance for this inspiring conversation. Registration can be completed here, and you can join the Zoom meeting directly using this link.

Hosted by the Rev. Brenda Bos, Bishop of the Southwest California Synod, this live Zoom discussion will focus on how the movement encourages us to embody God’s grace and love in a tangible way that impacts all people and creation.

During this online gathering, Bishop Eaton will share her personal reflections on why “God’s Love Made Real” is crucial to the church’s future. She will also engage directly with participants, providing a space for sharing experiences, asking questions, and exploring the movement’s significance in our lives and communities.

“The Spirit is calling us to move together as one church to share the grace and love we experience every day,” Bishop Eaton emphasized, underscoring the importance of unity in our mission.

Whether you are deeply involved in your congregation or have been away from church for a while, your voice is vital. This conversation aims to activate and inspire all of us to share the love of Christ more fully in our communities. The session will be held from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. Pacific Time, so mark your calendars and prepare to engage with the wider ELCA community.

For those unable to attend, a recording may be made available at a later date, but we strongly encourage live participation to experience the fullness of this conversation.

After the event, consider taking the following next steps:
