The ELCA celebrates this day by uplifting the International Women Leaders (IWL) program. Sunday, March 8, is the perfect time for your congregation to take an offering for IWL, as it will go twice as far. Because of the generosity of IWL supporters, your congregation’s gifts will be matched dollar for dollar until we reach $100,000. As a result, emerging women leaders from our global companions will have the chance to pursue their dreams through scholarships at ELCA colleges and universities, ELCA seminaries, and other institutions around the world.
