Resourceful Servants is thrilled to announce the launch of the Emergency Savings/Congregational Financial Assessment program on August 11, 2023. Aiming to address the financial challenges faced by rostered ministers and their congregations or organizations, this new program sets the path for both individual and organizational financial wellness.

Through this initiative, eligible rostered ministers can build personal financial reserves, receive a dollar-for-dollar match on savings up to $50 per month for two years, and gain valuable insights into congregational financial management. This combined approach enhances satisfaction and effectiveness in ministry by providing critical tools to address individual and communal financial health.

Matching funds are generously provided by the ELCA Mission Investment Fund and the Lilly Endowment, Inc. The program further extends to a Congregational Financial Assessment (CFA), where rostered ministers and congregations actively engage in assessing and improving financial practices.
