Advocate for Justice in 2025: Sign Up for Arizona’s Request to Speak System
Looking for a way to engage in advocacy in 2025? The Request to Speak (RTS) program in Arizona offers a simple yet powerful way for Lutherans across the state to weigh in on legislative initiatives from the comfort of their homes. Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona is here to help you get started.
The RTS program allows the public to register opinions on bills, leave comments, and even request to speak during legislative committee meetings. Previously, this could only be done in person at the Capitol. With RTS, after a one-time in-person account setup, you can participate entirely online.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Sign up at a kiosk at the Arizona Capitol or the Tucson legislative office.
Step 2: Once registered, you can use RTS from home to track bills, share your positions, and advocate for justice.
Don’t want to visit the Capitol yourself? Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona can help! Simply fill out their RTS application, and they will create the account for you. Once your account is active, you’ll be notified and ready to participate.
Advocacy rooted in Lutheran values means standing for justice, equity, and love for our neighbors. Whether it’s addressing housing insecurity, immigration policy, or environmental justice, RTS allows your voice to be part of shaping a better future for Arizona.
