Celebrating Generosity: Over 8,000 Pounds of Peanut Butter Donated to Combat Hunger
We are grateful to make an impact in peoples' lives. Since opening seven days a week at our Headquarters on Boulder Highway, we are now consistently serving between 8,000 and 10,000 people a month. We could not do it without your support! These are a few examples of people we served from online reviews:

2024 Peanut Butter Wars
The Peanut Butter Wars competition came to a dramatic conclusion on August 5 at midnight! We brought in more than 8,000 pounds of peanut butter! We also had 61 donations for $81,444! All proceeds designated towards combating food insecurity in the Las Vegas metro area.
Pastor Paul from New Song Lutheran shared Jake's story. Jake, like many people in Vegas, went down a path of substance abuse and was really struggling. He wandered into the church after having spotted the three crosses that overlook Anthem. He started getting involved and Pastor Paul took him to LSSN once a month to get groceries. Jake was able to get sober and stable and get his life back on track. This summer, when Jake heard about the LSSN Peanut Butter Wars he was able to give a large donation towards New Song's tally helping to rocket them to victory as the 2024 Peanut Butter Wars Champions! Shout out to Community Lutheran for collecting nearly two tons of peanut butter and Robert Stoffel Family Law for the business that collected the most peanut butter. Thank you to every one of our 18 participants!
