The Nominating Committee is starting the process that will result in elections at the 2019 Churchwide Assembly. How can you help? By encouraging people you know to submit their names for the position or positions that interest them, or submit your own name. This workbook has all the info you need.

The workbook is intended for broad distribution across the church. The separately incorporated ministries will be submitting one name for each open position on their boards. If you have people who might be interested in serving on these boards, it would be best if they contacted the specific organization directly. The nominating committee will be forwarding the names that come from the respective board development committee or its counterpart to the assembly.

We especially need help with nominees for the nominating committee and the committee on discipline. It is also important that we have strong leaders on the Church Council. Please share this workbook and encourage people to fill out the appropriate nomination form.
